The 13300 and 1200 series double row, self-aligning bearings are designed to function in applications where severe misalignment exists. The spherical construction of the outer raceway allows the ball complement to operate over a wide range of contact angles and to align itself accurately with the shaft and assembly without causing undue stress on the bearing members.
